Why Let Our Students Blog?

1. Before starting the blog in ED 505, did you have a blog? Was it a personal blog or a professional blog?

2. Would you consider using a blog to interact with parents and students in your classroom?

3. What are three benefits of allowing students to blog about classroom projects?

4. After viewing the video, would you be more inclined to use blogging with the students in your classroom?

5. How can blogs be used as learning tools?

  1. 1. Before starting this class I did not have a blog. However, I do find it interesting.
    2. I have considered using a blog to interact with parents, but not all of my parents have internet access. Also, keeping up with a blog can be time consuming.
    3. Students can discuss the projects with their peers have they have question, learn new information about their peers projects, and also learn technological features.
    4. I would like to use blogging with my students.
    5. Blogging can be used as learning tool because students can connect with other students across teh world and share ideas.
